This profile is a few years old. It will be re-written when I reach this character's death in my novel notes.

Huang Zhong was a master bowman from Nanyang. He served under Liu Baio and Han Xuan, and was nearly executed for showing leniency to Guan Yu during a duel. He was saved, however, by the timely assasination of Han Xuan by Wei Yan, and became one of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu.

Huang Zhong was the eldest of the Five Tigers, but he was as strong as any of them. His skill with the bow and arrow was unbelievable: it was said that in 100 tries he could hit all 100 targets. He defeated Xiahou Yuan, one of Wei's best generals.
