The Three Kingdoms

ThreeKingdoms.com
Complete online version of the novel, translated by C. H. Brewitt-Taylor
Kongming's Archives — Novel section
Dedicated to the RotK novel and all the games based upon it. Extensive, neat and easy to navigate. Probably the best RotK site on the Web. And I'm not just saying that 'cause they've linked to me.
Rafe de Crespigny Online Publications
Essays by the divine Rafe de Crespigny on the Three Kingdoms era, including "Man From the Margin" and "Generals of the South."
Empire Divided
Provides English-language RotK history resources. And it's pretty too.
Jonathan Wu's Homepage
Essays and bios of the RotK characters.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms Frontier
Everything RotK-related, including a lively forum. Excellent website, though the warriors' profiles section is incomplete.
Prepare To Be Romanced
Another site with good character profiles, though it's not well designed.
Three Kingdoms World
Pretty and informative site, with translated folk tales, quotes and even more great character profiles. (Warning: midi music plays automatically, but it can be turned off)
The Golden Horde
A very interesting fansite with a "different view of the RTK world". The webmaster has theorized what would happen if the Mongols were more powerful during the Three Kingdoms era. Also has an archive of pictures and screenshots from Dynasty Tactics, RotKVII and Romance of the Three Kingdoms Battlefield.
China-on-site: Three Kingdoms
A Three Kingdoms comic. Click on the page links at the bottom to view the images (may take several seconds to load).
Political, Social, Cultural, Historical Analysis of China: Three Kingdoms
Wow. Vast website with tons of text. Haven't had the time to go through it entirely, but it looks like a lot of good reading.
Virtues of the Characters of the Three Kingdoms
Essay. Examines the most prominent characters in the Three Kingdoms novel. You'll need a Chinese font on your computer to view it properly, though the essay is written in English.
Three Kingdoms era entry @ Wikipedia
The Wikipedia article on the Three Kingdoms era. Historical background information.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms entry @ Wikipedia
The Wikipedia article on the Three Kingdoms novel. Briefly recounts the story, and discusses Buddhist aspects. Also has some good links.
Personnages of the Three Kingdoms era entry @ Wikipedia
The Wikipedia article on the important people in the Three Kingdoms era, organized by kingdom. Names in blue link to Wikipedia articles on that person.
Romance of the Three Kingdoms Encyclopedia [NEW!]
An encyclopedia of RotTK things. For now, only contains characters, but will eventually list places, battles, and other relevant information.
Three Kingdoms: A Somewhat Less Than Critical Commentary [NEW!]
A complete list of characters, a useful outline of the novel, some quotes, and more. Also has information on other classic Chinese literature.
Jiuwan's Realm of Three Kingdoms [NEW!]
Has the San Guo Zhi biographies in Chinese, with Pei Songzhi's commentary, but also has information in English about reign years and provincial statistics, and character portraits scanned from the RotTK novel.
Three Kingdoms @ ThinkQuest.org [NEW!]
Contains miscelleous information concerning RotTK, including event summaries and short character bios.
