Cellphone Stuff
Also, though strictly speaking it's not merchandise, there is a program mentioned on the Gamecity website allowing people (in Japan, of course) to buy neat things for their cellphones. My Japanese is extremely poor, but this, I think, is the gist of it: you pay a certain amount of money each month to get points, which you use to "buy" things like Dynasty Warriors wallpapers, calendars, clocks, puzzles, and picture frames (like the photo frames used to decorate photos you take in booths at the mall; you can use these with camera phones). Note that these are not physical objects, but little applications for cellphones. The applications use artwork from the game, some of the samples even I haven't seen before. Possibly, you can choose which pictures you want to use. Also, possibly, you can use sound, maybe voices, from the games as ringtones (I'm very unsure of this... it's hard to translate). I don't have a clear understanding of it, but I thought this was worth a mention.
